I recently brought my car in for service and received a message recommending several additional services that my vehicle did not actually need. When I got back into my car, I noticed that everything from my glove compartment had been left scattered, most likely after checking the cabin air filter. Nothing was placed back the way it was. Additionally, the floor mat was thrown into the trunk on top of my gym bag and other belongings I had there. I have serviced my vehicles at other Toyota locations before, and they usually leave the car organized and as they found it. Unfortunately, this time the experience was not good. It’s disappointing, especially since this is the only Toyota location close to me. I simply wanted to share this feedback so that future customers receive better care and attention to their vehicles.

After having my van for almost 5 weeks to replace a transmission, we got the van back with three brand new problems. A hole in the exhaust system, a metal scraping sound coming from the front wheel, and broken air conditioning. The service department tried their best to make things right, but we still have to take the car to another mechanic to get these problems fixed. I’m not sure who test drives cars after their services is done, but in my opinion, they are incompetent. I will never go back. UPDATE 3/2026 - Just had my van repaired at my regular mechanic due to a cracked flywheel. Turns out that the Deery techs who installed my new transmission did not install both of the dowels that align the engine with the transmission. Needless to say that this repair was very expensive since the engine and transmission had to be removed and reinstalled. I'm just glad my mechanic found, and documented the problem before a catastrophic failure occurred. Now the van runs like new, but this should never have happened. I've been encouraged to begin legal proceedings. We'll see about that.

Just an awful place to get your car fixed. Customer service is the worst. Edit: My car was serviced there. When I bought my car at Deery, there was a slow leak in the tires, which I was told would be fixed for free. I scheduled an appointment to have it worked on, but when I got there, the service manager said I would have to pay for it. Which I refused to do. So I waited for 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon for someone to tell this guy this was agreed upon as a condition of buying my car. Of course then it was too late to fix it, so I had to reschedule another appointment for the next Saturday. Edit 2: It was definitely Deery West Burlington. This occurred in January 2017. Also, while I was waiting in line, several people ahead of me brought their car in for warranty work, only to be denied because of some technicality. Except for one guy, who was told that they just weren't going to honor his warranty. It seemed like the only job of the service manager was to deny people legitimate warranty service. And he seemed to enjoy it.

I bought my car from this dealership several years ago. I bought it as-is as a older used car, so I expected some issues. At first, I was really pissed because within the first year, the power steering pump died AMD the brake lines completely snapped. The brake lines should've been found on the initial inspection. Since then, they've replaced the power steering pump for FREE (well worth the engine protection package) because I get an additive during the oil changes. I do have to drive an hour for each oil change, but I would happily continue doing that for the life of this car if it means the moving parts have an extended warranty. The additive is like $12. To add on to the service departments Stellar warranty option, they get me in and out within an hour which I appreciate. They also do a full inspection and give you the results/ explain things before your oil change is even complete. They suggest recommended fixes but I've literally never felt pressured to get a single thing done on my car, including some things that were pretty urgent. They do not void the warranty if you get work done elsewhere because I'm extremely picky about who works on my vehicle.. the service is expensive so do keep that in mind but the quality of work I think makes up for it. If I had to get another car, I do think I would choose this place again. I'm not sure how thorough their inspections really are with used cars given the condition of mine when I received it, but it was still worth it for me in the end. Finding my car was like a unicorn and Deery Brothers West Burlington was willing to help me get it with insurance money.

Service there is terrible! Can’t never get ahold of anyone. Plus when we got our vehicle back it had sticky stuff all over console and dirt. Also when they took stuff apart it was put back right. Smelled like fish inside! They can never just get you right in, they need more technicians!

This dealership is actually horrible in their maintenance department. We bought a vehicle from a partner location and had to take it to this location within 24hrs of getting it. Was told they fixed the vehicle and they did not. Returned giving them 2 more chances as the same thing happened each time we picked up the vehicle. Actually had to end up driving the vehicle back to its original location as the vehicle was never fixed and returned the vehicle. I would never buy from any of their Locations again. Absolutely horrible

I was slightly disappointed because on my previous visit I had asked a question and I was told they would get back to me but no one did. I reminded them I never received an answer they said sorry it was denied by Toyota. Except I had bought the interior package and she said no you bought the exterior then went back and said yes you did get the interior package. Just was disappointed as I was there for 2 1/2 hours. Was told I need a new interior air filter, which I bought. The paper I was given stated all these items that should be done totally 700. But none of this was discussed and why wouldn’t it be covered?

I didn't like the way that my GPS on my Truck was changed when I complained to the service writer he sent me up front to find my salesman who was off that day the other salesman that I talked to did come out to the truck and reprogram the radio. UPDATE: I would like to update this to say that the Service manager reached out to me and apologized for the way I was treated and sent a gift card to cover my next oil change & tire rotation for free. Of course, it's yet to be seen if I can actually make the appointment! ;) Thank you Deery of WB! If I could leave 0 stars I would!! We purchased our 2021 Equinox at Deery and had a GREAT experience with Craig(he went above & beyond!!). This review is for the "Service" department! I attempted to make an appointment for an oil change online. Apparently though, the online appointment maker doesn't work. I showed up for my appointment and there was no record of it being made. So while I was there, I made a new appointment, face to face, with the man in the service bay. I never got a confirmation, so the day of the appointment, I called to confirm (messages get crossed, maybe I missed it). The woman who answered treated me like I was five!! I asked to confirm, she said she didn't see anything for that time. Then she asked if I had made it online and that if so it isn't working. No, I made it face to face. She proceeded to tell me again that if I had made it online it wasn't working. I said, again, No, I made it face to face. She kept repeating the online speech. I stopped her and told her that I had tried making the original appointment online but learned the hard way that it didn't work so I made a new appointment face to face with the man in the service bay. She went into the same "our online appointment maker doesn't work" schpeel. After about the fifth time hearing the same thing, and not getting anywhere, I told her nevermind I would take it somewhere else(and I did, and guess what, I made the appointment ONLINE). She was rude, and didn't listen when I tried to explain my frustration.

I will never do business with Deery again.. Had an appointment to get headlights replaced due to being to dim to drive at night. A class action lawsuit of Suarez vs Nissan said that a one time replacement would be made. I was told that my lights did not need replaced. Not sure how they can determine that at 9 o'clock in the morning. How about driving it after dark. Seems like that would be a more accurate test.

Terry, The inspection was conducted according to the guidelines provided to our master certified Nissan technician by the manufacture. The inspections requires lines of darkness to show in your headlights to fall under the special warranty provided by Nissan. The technician was easily able to see your headlights did not show any of the symptoms while he had it in his bay in the shop. If your vehicle did show these lines we would then to have needed to get a Nissan representative involved to confirm they would pay to replace your headlights as the manufacturer may not replace your headlights due to the salvage title on your 2013 Nissan Altima. The service experience I have had recently really feel short. I tried talk to a service manger and got a their voicemail and never received a return call. I also emailed the sales manger we had worked with and so far not one person has indicated they care at all about people that buy from them.

So far they have been GREAT at getting out car in for the recalls as they pop up. They do great work and make sure to let us know if anything else is wearing out as well! Kind and considerate. Highly recommend for service, but have never purchased a car from them so I can't say much on that end.

I read most of the reviews Derrys is the reason I've decided on getting a car from them I've talked 2 Steve/Tim very friendly they both understand what I'm going through right now Steve is very helpful of what I'm looking 4 he explained everything 2 me today Steve show me a car that can fit my budget got a tour of the service overall I'm 100% impressed I finally got a car/deal done today Steve was busy with our customers they have had Craig talk 2 me very nice person 2 talk 2 then talk 2 mark very nice as far as test driving/all the paper work it was quick/overall it's a very nice place 2 talk2 what they say they 100% there word on it highly recommend Derrys 2 any one today I had a blow tire there service department help me out took care of me explain 2 me y the tire was blown it's my 1st time doing business with them overall today they did a great job overall sales/service is great

I never feel like I'm a valued customer when I go there. It always seems like everything is rushed or I'm being pushed to the side. I was explained one thing when I purchased my vehicle but when I come time to service it there's another story. No matter how early I come in for service there's always a excuse on why they can't get me in. They always tell me that I have to make a appointment or come back at a later time. I just stop wasting my time. Today I called in to find out that I had a maintenance warranty and all the time they have been charging me when I was going there. I wouldn't recommend them to Anyone.👎

I am really not a dealership kinda guy to have warranty work done. I like working on my own stuff but with warranty issues why pay if you can get it done for free. With that all said I will say I am impressed with the speed in which they got it fixed. I did inspect the work and found no short cuts or knock off parts. Great service and very informative in what was needing done.

I had ordered some accessories from Deery Brothers, for my 2014 Ford F-150. The sales lady, Cindy, was very nice and professional. However, the workers, not so professional. i have a towel on my ds seat, and it was left on the floor. The shop manager told me that he would be able to have his guy spray the bed liner smooth, and that didn't happen. Worst of all, i've had my brand new truck for 3 weeks, and they were the one's to put the first scratch in it. They were lazy in trying to fix it up for me. It was pretty deep, and they didn't even buff on it like the kid say they did. They put touch-up paint on it and that's it. There was another mark too, and it was still there, when in fact, i could have buffed it out my self ( have being a body shop painter in the past). Ill have to take care of it myself when i get back home. They didn't even wash it up for me. I was told that their car wash was down. Funny, cause i seen a kid washing a car. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE. build/paint me a dog house.
