Deery Collision is a great shop—knowledgeable, easy-going, and genuinely respectful. They don’t make you feel dumb if you don’t know much about cars, which I’ve experienced elsewhere. When my car had issues, they were able to squeeze me in and get everything handled within a few days, which mattered because I rely on my car for work. Their pricing is fair, they don’t upsell unnecessary repairs, and they take the time to explain things clearly and without being condescending. I won’t go anywhere else—highly recommend Deery Collision to anyone, especially those who aren’t car-savvy. Five stars—this is how a repair shop should be. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last resort.... Way way way to expensive and my car still won't run. They wanted over $500 just to tell me what was wrong with it. They essentially lost the car for 4 days on their lot. Their last concern is the customer.

Had agreed on a truck approval with financing wouldn’t negotiate whatsoever because they knew they had the exact car I wanted so i made the decision to buy it anyway. A couple days before i was set to leave they called to inform me the truck had a issue. At this point i booked a non refundable plane ticket and took the day off work and had a simple request of either give me a little discount on the truck or have it delivered. That was a no but they gave me my non refundable deposit i made on the truck. Long story short i got the same truck for 6 k off msrp.

went here for a suspected bad fuel pump or injectors, told them i suspected a bad fuel pump or injectors and the reasons why. $1500+ and 3 trips to their repair shop later i was told 1st that it was a hose with a hole in it 2nd that my battery was bad and 3rd that my spark plugs were bad. After being fed up with them talking over me and my concerns i took my car to another mechanic and they replaced my fuel pump in two days for $800 and i havent had an issue with my car since. never going here again, not even for recalls. you cant trust them. UPDATE: Had to go here again to make sure our transmission wasn't bad (nissan with a cvt throwing codes for transmission fluid sensor) and they said it was the control arm bushings and tried to charge us THREE TIMES the cost of getting it done somewhere else. Again, do not go here unless they are your only option.

They did terrible. didn't get the problem resolved I took a vacation day to get it repaired because he said they needed time was there about 3 hours and was told they thought they had the issue fixed. Said that if it did it again to call back it was probably a module that they needed to change. Well the same code came back up again Saturday so I called him up I believe he is the service manager Jake told him that I can't be dropped off by your courtesy van because of where I work that he needs to work with me this time I get off work at 4pm and said I could be there by 4:15 he said they couldn't get it done in that amount of time that it would take multiple days but got me in touch with the lady that schedules the appointments I ask her to schedule me multiple appointments in a row and if they got the issue resolved I could cancel the rest of them and he told her not to do that for me and she had already refused to do that for me thats why I had her contact him again truck is a 2024 and still under warranty so I personally think his and her attitude is terrible if problem not resolved soon I will get a hold of the manufacturer and see what they think about the situation.

Car would not stay running. They did a walk around video and said it needed a new motor. I don't believe they even tested anything. I had already replaced fuel pump, which they reseated. Not impressed.

Go on a 90 mile round trip to get a recall fix via an appointment that they requested I make only to learn that the recall part has to be ordered. Means another trip. Stupid dealership. Should have had the part or called me ahead of time to tell me they were out of the part. This is one reason I normally don't deal with this over priced joke of a place.

We made the appointment for Saturday morning. Got there 10 minutes before the appointment they pulled the car in the service tire rotation was quick. They even brought our air filters in to show us that they did not need to be replaced and told us that the brakes we’re gonna need replaced on the front, but they still wasn’t down to what they recommend yet pay your bill and out the door all within about an hour

I took our 2015 Nissan Rogue in for a recall service. Place is very clean, personal are friendly and knowledgeable. Waiting area was very nice, clean, with refreshments. They did an inspection of the vehicle, which I didn’t even ask for, at no charge. The ole gal came back with a good bill of health other than some fluid changes they recommended. Well at 142k miles I’d have to agree that some fluids need to be flushed and refilled. I would definitely recommend Deery Brothers of West Burlington to anyone.

The dealership did a diagnostic of my brake system I told them to replace the brakes the said that they just needed lube to stop the squeaking a weeks later the squeaking came back after already paying them 500 they asked for an additional 670 to replace the brakes that I had already asked for all in all I will no longer be receiving services from you guys very disappointed in the way I was treated

I took my 2017 Nissan Rogue in back in March 2024 for an issue with my vehicle. I had a warning malfunction with check engine light and crash sensor on the dash. The first time Deery Brothers replaced my transmission and 4 days later, I had the same issue. I had to tow it back up to them and they replaced my TCM and again, 4 days later I had the same exact problem. I decided to take my vehicle to another Nissan dealership to Galesburg, IL and they had to program my TCM after they found the issue which was a burnt up fuse. So I had to replace my fuse and fuse box. I couldn't drive my vehicle for over 2 1/2 months. I only got a rental during my transmission replacement. After that, I was put in a situation that was stressful to get to work and my kids events. Deery Brothers, you need to take responsibility for your techs not being up to par.

While communication with the Service group leaves something to be desired, the courtesy and work is very good. All communication runs through your assigned advisor, my opinion is that role is overwhelmed. My advisor contacted me late afternoon the day I left our vehicle, unfortunately I did not have my phone close so he left a message. The next morning try as well as I could I wasn’t able to make contact with him. He got the work done, but due to what was probably a multitude of responsibilities on his plate it was noon before I actually spoke to him. The vehicle was repaired but before g vacuums of communication is not comforting.

I had warranty work done left the truck I live 80 miles away they put in park pawl per recall the paper I brought with me said I would get a free oil change up to 6 quarts of oil when I got they charge me 88 dollars for it I showed manager the paper when I dropped the truck off they where supposed to program a key fob I brought with me they said they forgot but if had time they would do it came back and they could program it and I had asked them when first came to the dealership that I wanted them order one then they said they would order one now but I would have to bring the truck back again and everything else I wanted them to check out they said they couldn’t do anything about it cause that the way it t works I’m not a complainer but I think people just don’t care about their job I worked for a truck dealer for 40 years I know about customers service. Today update after my rant I got call from the general manager he was very concerned and he apologized and wanted to make things right he I was disappointed in the vehicle we had a good talk and after taking to him I called him back and traded that vehicle in and he me great deal on a 2010 corvette they had and they really went out of their way I’m so happy that went back and done the deal and I apologize to them and love car and I definitely will be back when decide to purchase again they great people bottom line is I should of called before I posted

I don’t even like leaving bad reviews but after buying a vehicle for 65k it feels a little more personal that a dealership doesn’t make effort to take care of their customers. We traveled an hour to buy the vehicle. Once we got it home and checked out, the brakes on the car we purchased needed replaced (my husband is an ASE master mechanic) i contacted our salesman who said they checked out fine during their inspection and they would be at our cost. My husband has worked at dealerships for many years in his career and knows this is common practice to pass off a used car as “okay” if the repair is expensive. The brakes will cost us $3000 to replace as they are performance brakes. Obviously Deery didn’t want to front this bill so they checked it off as good to go in their inspection and now it’s our bill to pay.

Purchased my vehicle in January. Part of the agreement was to have warranty work done. It took us having to call multiple times to finally get it fixed, 6 months later. Got the run-around from our sales guy the whole time. Left my vehicle for a week to have work done after being told that would work with timing & the part wasn’t even there or ordered. Vehicle was at dealership for 2 weeks before finally getting fixed.

I have gone to the service department now 3 times in the last 3-4 months to get my vehicle fixed. I’ve spent almost 2000 already and now they want another 2200 out of me to fix a problem they said was already fixed. I have no more money, along with the almost 400$ monthly payment. I will be giving them a demand letter if they do not get this fixed. First visit they said it was my battery, second visit it was my starter hitting the flywheel, ECU, and some fuses. Now I don’t believe a word they say.

I wanted the Taketa air bags replaced in my Toyota xB, and while I was at it I needed some body & paint work, a new windshield & a set of new tires. The service dept at Deery Bros. passed me off to their certified Toyota technician's voicemail where I never got a call back. A week later I called and talked to another service rep that took all of my car info. She said she'd have to order needed parts and would call back later to set up an appointment for the airbag recall and two other TSB's. Meanwhile, I went to Deery's Collision Center for an estimate to have an old front end crash repaired, body & paint touched up and a broken R.H. headlamp assembly replaced. While they were at it, the windshield needed replacement and a fresh set of lamps for the turn signals and headlights. I was paying out of pocket and left $1,000 deposit to get the ball rolling. A couple days later Deery Collision called to have my car dropped off for said repairs. Later that afternoon I got a call saying my car was ready. No Way. That same morning, I called the NHTSA hot line to see what was happening with my airbag recall & TSB repairs. The lady from NHTSA called Deery Bros., West Burlington and found out that their Toyota Certified technician had walked off the job several days ago and that their wasn't a Toyota Certified technician working on staff at Deery Collision either. Basically, Deery Collision removed the plastic front end, replaced BOTH headlight assemblies (after I told them to only replace the broken right side) and each front light capsule. Deery didn't bother to straighten any of the damaged sheet metal beneath the plastic covering, so the right headlamp assembly was left in a bind with a mounting bolt missing cos it didn't line up. The grill was still popped out, and now it took two people to raise the hood that was left in a bind. Underneath the car, a handful of blind pop rivets were utilized instead of the proper fasteners to hold the plastic together. They totally botched the job up. Talking to, Brad Deery, was like talking to Pontius Pilate washing his hands. He turned the matter over to, Justin, the body shop manager, who in turn said I should take my car to Mike Campbell's because he couldn't squeeze my car in for another three weeks. Justin said he couldn't give me a refund for the headlight I didn't need. I suppose I could go through small claims court trying to reclaim the cost of a $300+ headlight capsule I didn't need. What a way to do business. The one star grade is way above the ''Not Worth Two Dead Flies" way I feel. By the way, Justin, Cory Campbell, did fantastic work on my xB and fixed each of your screw ups. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry you had less than a perfect experience. You may recall we replaced the right side headlight, two additional bulbs, and the windshield as you requested. When you received an estimate of over $3,000 to repair the additional damage on your vehicle including the sheet metal you declined the repairs. We removed the bumper to install the new headlight assembly and did not perform any work to the hood of the xB. We have no record of someone from the National Highway Traffic Administration contacting the dealership, however, we would have certainly informed them we have certified technicians. We are glad you were able to have the vehicle repaired to your satisfaction.

Very disappointed. Had four recalls live over an hour away. Was told would take 4 hours to do work. Was asked to be there at 8 am. Was right on time. Here's where it all went wrong. Kept getting told aost done three times. Was not done till 4 o'clock. Then left and coolant light still on what I originally notice. Had to fill at another place. Just wrong would not give me a car to drive. Had errands wanted to run Not happy will not go back there'

My experience was that I had to find and supply deery brothers with the part needed to fix my vehicle or wait several months and maybe they would have it by then. After a month when my vehicle was repaired I was given a much larger bill than was discussed. My experience was not good to say the least and I would not recommend deery to anyone.

Don't buy a used car here. They use the warranty and inspection to make it appear as if they are doing you a good service. I bought my car here... they just don't add to the inspection anything that's wrong that they don't want to take care of.

Gina sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Highlander. Although our technicians do their very best to find any issues a vehicle has during their inspections. It is not always possible to catch everything as some issues may not show up or even exist at the time of the inspection. This is especially true on a 14 year old vehicle with over 166,000 miles on it like the one you purchased. In order for us to offer budget friendly cars such as the one you purchase we offer them "As-Is" We do encourage customers to have their own mechanic inspect a vehicle before making a purchase if they do not feel comfortable with our inspection or with the idea of purchasing a vehicle that would not qualify for any type of extended service agreement. We certainly hope you do not experience any more issues with your Highlander in the future.

I took my car in for an issue concerning the navigation system after waiting on my car for FIVE hours they told me they couldn't get it to start, the technician thought it was A battery in the ignition key so they replaced it and still couldn't get it to start then they said it was A brake switch which needed to be ordered so they sent me home in A rental that they provided, after waiting on my car all afternoon I had an hour drive home. they called me two days later to tell me my car was done and the bill was $675, when I got there to pick it up the actual bill was over $700 they had charged me for replacing the battery in the key that wasn't even bad, then they had the nerve the require the vehicle they loaned me be returned with A full gas tank, I must say I wouldn't recommend this dealership, the only way I will ever return there is if every other dealership on earth spontaneously combusts.

Carol, Sorry you did not have a good experience. It appears our staff did not communicate with you as well as we should have regarding the diagnosis of the multiple issues your Mazda had at the time you brought it in for repair. After running several test on your vehicle the Mazda master certified technician determined the USB port on your vehicle was not reading properly we were able to get the part the same day. The intermittent start issue with your vehicle was related to two issues the battery in your remote and a brake switch. The brake switch was triggering your vehicle's safety system not allowing the vehicle to start. Unfortunately after diagnosing this issue it was determined the part needed to be ordered. That was when the decision to provide you a rental vehicle at no charge was made. We had the parts company expedite the shipping to get you back in your vehicle as quickly as possible. We are sorry you do not feel the fuel in the rental vehicle was your responsibility, however, Heartland Rental Cars has the same policy as most rental car companies regarding fuel not being included in the cost of a rental (cost of the rental was paid by the dealership). Regarding the final bill, your repair bill was actually $695.07 the reason it was over $700 was the sales tax of $48.65. If you feel strongly the $14.26 for the key fob battery was unnecessary please contact our General Manger, Terry Mertens he mentioned he would welcome a call from you to discuss a refund for the cost of the battery. My first experience with Deery Brothers was Awesome! I went in with $2500 and stated that is all I had. I got into a 1998 Grand Marquis and drove away with tags and all. I still have this car and live it, 5 years later and am keeping it as a backup. Even though it has high mileage on it, it's still my baby. Lol Best investment I've ever made. My 2nd experience with Deer Brothers was Awful!!! My car died 3 days after purchasing it. Because I signed an "As Is" paper, Deer Brothers would not fix it. I am Extremely diappointed with this, and Absolutely will Not recommend this place. But paying $2700 for a car that I was only able to drive for 3 days is bull. I'm sorry, but anyone that buys a car from there might want to take the vehicle to a mechanic before purchasing because You Will get Ripped Off if you don't. Ok, just got off the phone with a mechanic and he stated that the engine needs to be replaces and will cost over $2000, not to mention there are transmission issues that need to be taken care of. Thank you Brad Deery for helping out with this situation. I appreciate that you took the time to speak to bother my brother and myself, and fixed the problem by taking the car back and giving me another car to replace it. Not many people would do that, but you did. It is Greatly appreciated. Hopefully it will be a few years before I see y'all again. Be Blessed and have a Great day.

Yvette, Sorry to hear you are having problems with your car. Unfortunately you are correct when we sell a vehicle that is 17 years old with high mileage we have to offer them "As-Is". We are very clear when selling vehicles like the one you purchased that the vehicle is "As-Is" so there is no confusion. That is why we asked you indicate your understanding of this policy on the form that states "This vehicle is being SOLD As-Is, As-Is, As-Is This vehicle is being SOLD with ALL FAULTS and customer is completely aware of this. Customer declines option to buy mechanical breakdown insurance. All repairs are at the customer's expense. There is absolutely no guarantee or warranty on this vehicle. Customer is 100% at risk for any and all repairs. Also you signed the inspection on the vehicle that we performed and it clearly shows this vehicle had known issues when you purchased it. Your signature is also present on the Federal Trade Commission label stating As-Is No Warranty and the purchase agreement which again clearly states "As-Is". You indicated your understanding of the terms of the sale with your signature on five separate forms. Again we will disclose to the best of our knowledge what issues a vehicle may have and are glad to share that with the customer. Customers are also welcome to have their own inspection performed on vehicles as well. Again sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your 1999 Dodge Intrepid, however, we believe in full disclosure and we unlike other dealerships we would rather a customer decide not to purchase a vehicle we offer "As-Is" than to have expectations of an older vehicle with high mileage not having issues of any kind let alone major issues. I had purchased a Jeep from Deery Brothers in West Burlington on 8/1/2011. The salesman had told me the tred left on the tires were %50. I took my Jeep to a tire dealer and they said i had a lot less than that left on my tires. I called back and spoke to the Shop manager and he didnt want to do anything for me. He said bring the Jeep back to us and we will look at it and let you know if there is anything we can do. I live 1.5 hours away from them so it would be a 3 hour round trip to just see what they will do for me. Another thing they told me that the drivers door lock is loud when you unlock and lock the door. I was fine with that i dont care if it is loud when it locks or unlocks. After i left Deery Brothers we went to get some food. I locked the doors and went inside. when i came out I didnt hit the unlock on the key pad and the door was still unlocked. So I played with it for a little bit and found out that i cant lock my drivers side door with they key pad. I have to hit the lock on the key pad and put my key in the door and lock it that way. I cant even use the lock inside the Jeep to lock it when i try its like its stuck and I will break it if I push to hard. So I had called the dealership back yesterday the 24th of August and spoke with Bradford Deery the owner. Told him what was going on and he was kind of the same way as the shop manager and keep saying it was a as is car. I told him I was mislead about the quality of the tires and was not told that the drivers door didnt lock right. He still said it was a as is sale. Well we had ended the call on that note. About 5-10 mins later i had a missed call. Brad had called me back and said he wanted to make this right and to call him back so we could figure this out. He told me that they will fix the driver door lock and give me 2 new tires at NO COST TO ME! I will continue to do business with this dealership becasue of the way he stepped up to the plate to handle this. Thanks again Brad for doing this for me and not losing a customer for the rest of my young life.
