He truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable making the trip out of state for a truck. When we arrived, Cameron greeted us and was incredibly personable and kind throughout the entire process. He made us feel confident that we were making the best decision. He even called the next day to make sure we got home safely and to check in on how the drive was. Which was very thoughtful of him. I found myself in a predicament as my ford ranger keeps burning up fuel pumps. The age and mileage of the vehicle are enough that handling my daily routine is a bit of a stretch. I decided it was time for a newer vehicle while i keep my ranger and hopefully fix it as a backup. As it is, it is dead as a doornail. I did some quick searches on line thinking the $20K zone was what I was prepared to do. Deery Bros web site came up with a pretty good selection of compact cars which is what I was thinking about. There was a corolla that had some previous damage which i could see in the carfax Deery published online. Knowing this helped me in my final decision which was a new Nissan Sentra. It was close enough in price to the corolla but there is a lot to be said for going new if you can, and the difference in price wasnt enough to point me toward the corolla. Ivan was my sales rep and he was very helpful and accommodating through the whole process. I took the powder white option for a test drive over night. No complaints at all on the car, but I did see that there was an Aspen white version that was missing a couple of options compared to the powder white, so i went with the aspen white, it was also about $1,500 less. Again Ivan was very accommodating by giving me as much time as I wanted to compare and contrast. The aspen white didnt have the $80 clear bumper cover that came with the powder white and I was hoping this could get ordered as a customer courtesy but this was not possible. One thing that stuck in my mind when i bought my Ranger new was that they threw in keyless entry for free, small things like that stick in a customers memory. Anyway, I decided to go with a down payment and finance the rest. I was a little surprised at the final monthly payment amount, but I knew going in that I could pay against the principal to speed things up, and Ivan and the Finance director confirmed this. My plan is to make some aggressive payments to knock back the principal once the loan gets started and potentially refinance at Capital one if that makes sense to do. After the purchase I noticed that Nissan of Galesburg had the same vehicles at somewhat lower prices. If my timeline was not so tight I might have considered them as an option. Overall this experience was painless compared to any other car purchases for me in recent memory. I would go with five stars but there are some unknowns such as CVT transmission performance long term and overall quality of the vehicle, + whether I find the financing varies wildly from the norm. As I mentioned I was pressed to make a deal so I started with what it is and know that I have some options to reduce any payment pain as needed. Thank you,

Great place to go if you need to be lied too. Call to ask for all pricing. Got told $21,000. Well, 6 hours of driving and paper work later, show up with $22,500 and get told it won't cover my taxes. "Well, I did not know what you were doing " was reason give for increase. Fine whatever, well they head off, few min later they come back with a paper saying I need another $2000, and still the $1300 for taxes. And had the full to tell me "we too late into the process to negotiate" they had not done anything, nothing was sign. I had to do all work, and guess what I had to do another 6 hours of driving and paper work, and it costed me money to pay back loan after returning the money. Buyer beware: do not trust Wendy there, she either incompetent, or con artist. So adding more since the owner reply. First of all yes I live in Burlington, My credit union does not, it in Hannibal, mo. Second the price he said I was quote Is still under the loan amount I got that also under about $1600 of the first price change Wendy gave me(inperson) if the car came out to $23,000 or $23,500 and before taxes I would of still brought that day . Furthermore if I am calling about the price of the vehicle, which I could see the price they would have listed when I found out they had vehicle. Why would I not be asking about the taxes? You can see the price they advertise for vehicle before you find phone number. Also to add on about the market value My credit union does a review of vehicle and it history before I am allowed to get loan. So yeah they check market value too and they told me car was not even close to worth the final price which I was given. Like to note that a lot of issue happen in person with Wendy, not over the phone. and the text I got before the meeting with Wendy were just appointment reminder( So I do not see how the texts are relevant to anything). On other hand, the owner did actually reply instead of leaving a generics automatic message. Maybe this whole situation could have been prevented if I was work with them. Instead of Wendy." also adding after looking at more reviews, within last 3 months, lying, no discounts, bad communication, bad customer service seem to be repeating key words. Failure on my part for not doing more research should of never trusted them i guess

While the sales person Craig was very nice I was quite upset with the overall experience. He was aware that I needed a vehicle and was losing money without one. He said he would help to get me approved. He did but not for the vehicle I looked at, not the price range I needed to stay in, higher mileage then the one I looked at, and way more money down then I could afford. My hard line prices and requirements where told to him on first interaction. None of that was listen to. I was basically told this is what you get by finance. All of that could have been avoided with a simple call with options instead of wasting my and my family's time to bring me to the dealership. To top it all off, my private information was laid open on his desk for several hours for anyone in the office to see. No sense of security or care for ones private information. I will not do business of any kind in the future.

I live in Chicago and worked with multiple dealerships in my area to try to find the exact car (trim level, interior/exterior color combo) that I wanted. After having my deposit on file with a Chicago-area dealership for TWO months, they finally turned to me and said that they just couldn't get the car that I wanted any time soon. So I expanded my search area, which led me to Deery. Luckily, they had the exact car that I wanted already headed their way from the factory on the freight truck, and I was able to snag it. The sales rep that I worked with was Steve Donald, and he was excellent. He was very communicative, honest, and made me feel like he valued my business. When it came time to pick up my new car, my parents drove me out to Deery (an approximately 3 1/2 hour drive). All of us were impressed with the dealership itself, and with all of the staff that we encountered. My dad even said that next time he needs a new car, he'll consider buying it from Deery, even though there are countless dealerships closer to where he lives! Steve spent probably close to an hour showing me some of the key features on/in my new car, which was very helpful before I hit the highway to make the long drive back home. I highly recommend Deery, ESPECIALLY if you're feeling frustrated/strung along by other dealerships! Five stars!

The salesperson, Anya Clark, was extremely knowledgeable about all the features on the Frontier. She wasn’t pushy or overbearing and was really great to work with. The Finance Manager, Kevin, was really down-to-earth and explained everything very well. He didn’t try to upsell me anything that I didn’t need.
