Took some cars in for service and never got an update on what’s going on. I was just expecting a phone call to tell me how things are going if they brought it in or not what’s wrong, but they never call. I’ve had to call after a couple days just to know what’s going on. I haven’t been to many shops but I’m 100% sure they actually communicate with customers at any given point. Not saying the experience was bad just supper aggravating that they can’t call back when they say they will.

Brought my vehicle in for an oil change, and potential leak or burn due to running out of oil and coolant consistently every few months. The did bare minimum to research, charged me for the doing that and told me the bumper to bumper warranty I purchased from them didn't cover the coolant issue they did find and then proceeded to tell me its totally normal for a 2018 Chevy Traverse to be low on oil, and its a well known issue they can't do anything about.

Closest dealer in my area. Nice facility, but they charge outrageous prices for EVERYTHING. At least in parts and service especially. Long way from home for us, but had to get recall work done. Multiple trips, super inconvenient. There for multiple hrs and wouldn't let us use a car, had to sit. Ugh

A bit of a long story about how much Deery Brothers helped us out, but I feel like I need to tell it. This past summer, my family and I were t-boned by an uninsured driver. Everyone was okay, but the following months were an absolute nightmare when it came to the insurance process. Between work, and our child starting kindergarten, being down a car was not easy. Our insurance was finally dealt with after a few months and we could begin looking for a new car. That was a whole other nightmare. I had a Toyota Prius and wanted to get a new one. Sold out everywhere and to get a new one would mean being on a year long waiting list. I decided that the hybrid Corolla would be a good substitute (I commute 2 hours a day, thus wanting another hybrid). Wouldn't you know it? Hybrid Corollas were also in short supply and high demand in our area. Local dealers also jacked up all of their prices. We decided to expand our search and found Deery Brothers Toyota in West Burlington. It was a 5 hour drive away from us, but they had two hybrid Corollas in freight, and the prices were beyond reasonable! I was first contacted by their internet sales manager, Wendy. She was so nice and answered all of my questions quickly. We took the risk and put down a deposit on a car we hadn't even seen. Then we were contacted by Ivan. What a gem. He guided us through the process and made sure everything went smoothly. A couple of weeks later, the car arrived, and we made the drive to West Burlington. I couldn't believe how quickly their team got us in and out of there. Everything was thorough, and we didn't feel rushed or pressured. It was one of the smoothest car buying experiences of my life. Huge shoutout to Ivan, Wendy and everyone over there at Deery Brothers. Finding these guys felt like we finally had a little luck back on our side.

Don't go to this place. Worst car dealership ever. They all lie to you and give you the less they can for your trade in and then sale it for 5 time's as much then they gave you. The vehicle I bought off them they said everything was good on it but got it home several switches stopped working and the windshield they said didn't leaked leaks. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

We took our car in for service. They kept us informed and check out was easy. We got a clean car back in a timely manner. Not many dealerships wash and dry your car anymore. In the past we've had service done at another dealership. They were always telling us this or that needed to be done. We would check the owners manual that said otherwise. We feel we've found an honest dealership to care for our cars. If we purchase another car in the future it will most likely be from Deery

On 9-26-23 found a vehicle we liked on deery brothers website. So calling about it, talking to.Byron, who went out of his way to get us information. He took numerous pictures and sent to us, then he had a tech guy out and take a 360 walk around video of the vehicle. which he also sent to us. After hours of talking back and forth he made it very easy to make this purchase. We drove from Louisiana MO., to West Berlington IA. To buy this car. You could never ask for a better sales person . The vehicle was absolutely everything he said it was, AND Came in Wednesday (HIS DAY OFF) to make this deal. He also worked to get about 50 to 60% of the paper work ready so we wouldn't have be be there for hours doing paperwork. I can't say enough good about the whole situation. Give you one price, then comeback and raise the price and claim that it's because the vehicle is available? Not the 1st dealership I've seen adding in an availability fee on a vehicle they have in stock. It's a new scam some of the less reputable dealerships are using ever since the covid shortage. Buyer beware! In response to owner comment... It was my sister who IS from Burlington that you raised the price on. But that's ok. She came to Des Moines to look at a car we sent her a link to, and she bought it up here. She bought the car as advertised, they didn't increase the price like you did.

I had just driven from Delaware to Iowa and would have to turn around and go back in 2 days. Despite a packed service schedule, they were able to quickly diagnose the problem, rent me a car for my travels there in town and have the car done that evening. Everyone from the young man directing me to the correct entry bay and on from there went above and beyond and were all so kind. My car was clean and fixed for my trip back and for very reasonable price. As it turned out, local family members had all used them for multiple car purchases and service as well. All reported similar experience. Can't say enough good about them and thank them all for their help.

Bought a car from Deery Brothers- Art Krantz sold us the car and he was the BEST salesman ever. Our flights got cancelled to pick up the car and he Immediately assured us the car would be waiting for us and he would come to the airport in Cedar Rapids to pick us up— wow, what service- between him and Kyle Hunziker (finance guy) they had all the paperwork ready to sign so the wife was in and out in record time so that she Could drive 4 hours to the farm. We are so happy to not only work with such a professional team, but paid a fair price. Thank you Deery Brothers!!!! Thomas and Christie AND, the driver actually bought my wife Iowa Sweet corn and delivered it to her. She is sooooo happy. And we all know, a happy wife is a happy life!

not very happy. was lied to about nitrogen for the tires on my 2500. at the first oil change I let them do. 3 changes in and find out they are just putting air in when they do the tire rotation not nitrogen like it's supposed to be.

They (salesmen) try to trap you in lot so they can TRY to sell a vehicle. If they won't even let you drive around and look without trying to corner you.... I can shop more pleasant places than this! I am wanting to purchase a new or almost new truck BUT because of their stupid chasing you down, I no longer shop there!!

Purchased my vehicle in January. Part of the agreement was to have warranty work done. It took us having to call multiple times to finally get it fixed, 6 months later. Got the run-around from our sales guy the whole time. Left my vehicle for a week to have work done after being told that would work with timing & the part wasn’t even there or ordered. Vehicle was at dealership for 2 weeks before finally getting fixed.

The worst dealer I’ve ever interacted with, flat out. They had a vehicle I wanted so I called them and was informed they only do wire transfers or after 10 days and a cashiers check clears they would release the car. That’s not business works. The only good thing they did for me when I arrived was pick me up at the airport. When I first went to look at the vehicle I was told “we just did a detail on it” popped the hood and it was dirtier than all get out. The vehicle had residue on the trunk lid from what looked like a sticker but since I was driving 7 hours back I said “guess it’s kinda late for a detail”. Went into the finance office to sign paperwork and was originally told they’d do my title papers and send them to me in the mail but I had already confirmed with Tim that I’d be leaving that day title and keys in hand. Kyle went to confirm and then handed me back the title and said it was all good. I asked if it had been filled out and he said I should have no issues. I drive the car to a food place to wait out the tornado warning and when I went to move the car at the restaurant the vehicle wouldn’t start. Battery cables were loose, tightened them up enough and went back to the dealer to tighten them up completely and then realized the wiper blades were about as old as the car. Drove off and for 7 hours the car had no issues on the way home. The following day I went to put the vehicle in my name and couldn’t because the title was not filled out. I had to overnight the title back to the dealer and then they sent it back but didn’t cover the charge, even though it was their mistake. Then when I went to take a look at the car realized all of the rotors on the car were basically trash and the barrels on the wheels looked liked they’d never been cleaned. Positive note Steve and Kyle were nice, downside their company sucks and the excuse “that’s policy” was used. I hope this is an oddity but I cannot recommend this dealer to anyone. In fact I’ve instructed a few people to steer clear and go somewhere else.

I went to get my oil changed for the first time. Everyone was friendly and helpful, as well as efficient. I was in a time crunch and they made sure to take care of my oil change and car wash quickly, yet accomplish everything needing done. I was shown the check list and the service technician talked through each thing with me. Very great service!

I have gone to the service department now 3 times in the last 3-4 months to get my vehicle fixed. I’ve spent almost 2000 already and now they want another 2200 out of me to fix a problem they said was already fixed. I have no more money, along with the almost 400$ monthly payment. I will be giving them a demand letter if they do not get this fixed. First visit they said it was my battery, second visit it was my starter hitting the flywheel, ECU, and some fuses. Now I don’t believe a word they say.

They are holding our vehicle that was fixed due to the motor seizing because my girlfriend was held at gunpoint in the rental we had so they had to come get it from the tow company. Never offered us the rental back to clean up or anything. When they thought our insurance was going to pay for it they was charging us $10,000...after finding out the insurance wasn't in effect and asking for a list of damages and why it was so much they let us know they was going to charge us $2600. Until we pay that all at once they are holding our only vehicle and I can barely make it to work. Tried to pay half down and make a payment weekly but they refuse to work with us. So we are paying for a car we can't even drive!!!!!

I had some "Nissan recall" work done on my 2020 Frontier that was going to take 5 hours. I live 70 miles away(Deery Brothers is closest authorized repair shop). Amanda in the shop was terrific. She was concerned about me and wanted to make sure I knew how long it was going to take. She communicated with me on a regular basis and made sure the expectations were clear. Overall, it was the best service experience I have ever had at a dealership.

I was contacted by Deery Brothers for warranty work / inspection. On the day of service, I asked to also have the oil and tires rotated and they accommodated my request easily. The work was done quickly (<1hr) and when I collected my vehicle it had been washed and the interior vacuumed. Wow. Friendly, professional service - you don't get that at very many places anymore. I would recommend you DO NOT go here, customer service was poor to say the least! Is taking forever to get our title to get our vechile registered and licensed and when we would call to get updates they would rudely say they have up to 30 days to get it to us! That is after I had emailed them asking when we would be expecting it and NO Reply back!!! We have 3 days til the 30 days are up and its a Friday! When another family member bought a vechile the same day at another dealership in Burlington, Iowa and got their title 2 weeks ago!!! This was Not the first time we have bought from a dealershipn but we HAVE NEVER had the problems we have had through them! If I could leave no stars I would! Very disappointed in their customer service!

I was told that the tires were rotated during service. However, they were not. The front driver tire was low by 6lbs, and it was still low after my appointment. I thought maybe the tech just forgot to do a TPMS relearn when he finished, but this morning when i aired my tires, the front tire was still 6lbs low. I dont appreciate being told something was done when it clearly wasnt.
