I had big goals when I walked into Deery Brothers and I didn’t think I would reach them. They worked hard to bring my trade in and the vehicle I was buying to an amount that worked with my goals and budget! A little update: just as an FYI, I’m very pleased with my vehicle. When they say your vehicle is certified, and all maintenance is up to date, it just means that they changed the oil (and maybe the tires). I’ve had my vehicle for less than 2,000 miles, and I already need to change my transmission fluid. Kinda bummed about that, but it is what it is. Just updating this for full transparency.

What else would you do on Christmas Eve, day? Buy a car. Checking out the on-line selections, Deery had the most to offer. I found about 4 to test. Called and talked with Ivan and he had them ready to try out for me. I was trading in my fairly new Honda. Wanted a SUV again. Ended up purchasing Nissan Murano. Love it. Ivan was pleasure to work with. Answered my questions and no pressure. Paper work smooth and everyone involved nice. Even decided to ceramic coat as suggested by Julie. Thanks, KLW

I found myself in a predicament as my ford ranger keeps burning up fuel pumps. The age and mileage of the vehicle are enough that handling my daily routine is a bit of a stretch. I decided it was time for a newer vehicle while i keep my ranger and hopefully fix it as a backup. As it is, it is dead as a doornail. I did some quick searches on line thinking the $20K zone was what I was prepared to do. Deery Bros web site came up with a pretty good selection of compact cars which is what I was thinking about. There was a corolla that had some previous damage which i could see in the carfax Deery published online. Knowing this helped me in my final decision which was a new Nissan Sentra. It was close enough in price to the corolla but there is a lot to be said for going new if you can, and the difference in price wasnt enough to point me toward the corolla. Ivan was my sales rep and he was very helpful and accommodating through the whole process. I took the powder white option for a test drive over night. No complaints at all on the car, but I did see that there was an Aspen white version that was missing a couple of options compared to the powder white, so i went with the aspen white, it was also about $1,500 less. Again Ivan was very accommodating by giving me as much time as I wanted to compare and contrast. The aspen white didnt have the $80 clear bumper cover that came with the powder white and I was hoping this could get ordered as a customer courtesy but this was not possible. One thing that stuck in my mind when i bought my Ranger new was that they threw in keyless entry for free, small things like that stick in a customers memory. Anyway, I decided to go with a down payment and finance the rest. I was a little surprised at the final monthly payment amount, but I knew going in that I could pay against the principal to speed things up, and Ivan and the Finance director confirmed this. My plan is to make some aggressive payments to knock back the principal once the loan gets started and potentially refinance at Capital one if that makes sense to do. After the purchase I noticed that Nissan of Galesburg had the same vehicles at somewhat lower prices. If my timeline was not so tight I might have considered them as an option. Overall this experience was painless compared to any other car purchases for me in recent memory. I would go with five stars but there are some unknowns such as CVT transmission performance long term and overall quality of the vehicle, + whether I find the financing varies wildly from the norm. As I mentioned I was pressed to make a deal so I started with what it is and know that I have some options to reduce any payment pain as needed. Thank you,

Jake and Brandon in sales were phenomenal to work with when I was in a time crunch to find a new car after totaling mine. The service team has been very helpful while dealing with a transmission issue. I feel like they have gone above and beyond for me during this very frustrating process. However, their finance person that I dealt with was very rude and condescending. He would be the the only thing deterring me from returning.

Isaiah was very friendly and helpful. This could have been a 5 star had the ‘paperwork’ not taken over 1.5 hours and my car had a full tank of gas instead of half. I had to stop for gas in order to make it home. Overall I would recommend Isaiah and Deery Brothers for your car buying experience.

Jake, thank you. You and your Tech showed great integrity by telling me our spark plugs were fine and no need to be changed. When I got home I got the bill out from Firestone last Winter and see the plugs were changed when all 4 ignition coils were changed in December 2023 in Boulder City, NV. It was easy to get scheduled, and the waiting area was accommodating. New tires and an alignment. It was quick and comparable in price. The car drives nice. I had never been there, and it was not really clear as to what area I was to check in with. I went to three different people before I was at the right check-in. It would be nice if the staff took notice of the people who arrive and provide a greeting/ assistance to get the customer to where they need to be. I was grateful for the service, and the people who took my payment were very friendly.

Took my 2006 Pontiac Solstice to Deery in Burlington recently for a recall notice. It was a scheduled appointment. It did take quite a bit longer than what the scheduler had told me the day I called for the appointment but I'm happy to have this taken care of now. I did feel they should have told me at the start of the appointment that it would take almost twice as long as the scheduler had stated. But.... I also did not ask. I did text after maybe 3.5 hours to ask how much longer it would be and they replied with 1-2 more hours. That possibly was because I asked them to diagnose why the heater doesn't blow hot air. We ended up cancelling that diagnosis and was not charged for that. I would appoint there again or may try a more local place to me

Love my new explorer. However; after being told my car received all “green lights” on the inspection, I drove it off the lot to find out it had some issues. I am waiting for a service appointment to have them repaired. Fingers crossed we get it figured out. My sales person, Rayne, was very friendly as was Keven in the finance department. I did not feel pressured at any point of the sale.

While communication with the Service group leaves something to be desired, the courtesy and work is very good. All communication runs through your assigned advisor, my opinion is that role is overwhelmed. My advisor contacted me late afternoon the day I left our vehicle, unfortunately I did not have my phone close so he left a message. The next morning try as well as I could I wasn’t able to make contact with him. He got the work done, but due to what was probably a multitude of responsibilities on his plate it was noon before I actually spoke to him. The vehicle was repaired but before g vacuums of communication is not comforting.

Closest dealer in my area. Nice facility, but they charge outrageous prices for EVERYTHING. At least in parts and service especially. Long way from home for us, but had to get recall work done. Multiple trips, super inconvenient. There for multiple hrs and wouldn't let us use a car, had to sit. Ugh

I recently purchased a used truck at deery Brothers. I dealt directly with Sean, who is constantly improving his salesmanship skills to make his grandmother proud. I learned this in conversation, waiting on paperwork. Sean was patient with any complaints or concerns I had. I'm sure my wife had him wishing we'd leave at one point or another. I had a mostly positive experience. Lacking 1 star isn't bad by any standard. My 1 complaint is financial. There just wasn't any room to come down on the used truck or to come up on my trade-in. Yes, that's typical at a dealership, but these are the highest interest rates I've ever financed under. Every dollar counts. Deery management, take care of your sales team. They were standing out in the cold, waiting for me to splash them with a puddle. I believe compensation is in order.

UPDATE: I would like to update this to say that the Service manager reached out to me and apologized for the way I was treated and sent a gift card to cover my next oil change & tire rotation for free. Of course, it's yet to be seen if I can actually make the appointment! ;) Thank you Deery of WB! If I could leave 0 stars I would!! We purchased our 2021 Equinox at Deery and had a GREAT experience with Craig(he went above & beyond!!). This review is for the "Service" department! I attempted to make an appointment for an oil change online. Apparently though, the online appointment maker doesn't work. I showed up for my appointment and there was no record of it being made. So while I was there, I made a new appointment, face to face, with the man in the service bay. I never got a confirmation, so the day of the appointment, I called to confirm (messages get crossed, maybe I missed it). The woman who answered treated me like I was five!! I asked to confirm, she said she didn't see anything for that time. Then she asked if I had made it online and that if so it isn't working. No, I made it face to face. She proceeded to tell me again that if I had made it online it wasn't working. I said, again, No, I made it face to face. She kept repeating the online speech. I stopped her and told her that I had tried making the original appointment online but learned the hard way that it didn't work so I made a new appointment face to face with the man in the service bay. She went into the same "our online appointment maker doesn't work" schpeel. After about the fifth time hearing the same thing, and not getting anywhere, I told her nevermind I would take it somewhere else(and I did, and guess what, I made the appointment ONLINE). She was rude, and didn't listen when I tried to explain my frustration.
